Important Information before you Travel

Safety

Your safety is of the utmost importance to me. You join me on the organized walks and excursions at your own risk. You will always be accompanied by myself on all excursions. A walking guide and cultural guide will accompany us on certain excursions. These guides accompany us so that you can gain a full appreciation of the area. In these days of litigation it is important that every time you (and each member of your group) join us on an organised walk or cultural excursion you do so at your own risk.

It is your responsibility to act in a reasonable manner at all times, and to act with respect towards other members of the group, guides, hotel staff and the property. I will reserve the right to decline to accept or to require any individual to withdraw from any tour due to unreasonable behaviour. Si-Cilento is not responsible for the actions of our contracted service providers.

Si-Cilento may have to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. If the weather is too bad, an excursion may have to be postponed or in the worst case scenario, cancelled.

Insurance

Please note that any member joining the tour must take out a comprehensive travel insurance prior to arrival. I will require full details, including: Policy Number; Insurer’s name; and emergency contact number on booking.

If you are a UK citizen, please bring your EHIC medical insurance card with you, which entitles you to certain medical treatment free of charge.

Health

The walking is of a moderate nature, some uphill walking. Anyone with a good level of fitness will enjoy the tour. If you have any reason to think you might not be fit enough, please seek medical advice prior to travel.

If you are currently on medication for any medical problem you must advise me before departure.
